Lillie&Lee Launches THC-Free CBD Isolate for Dogs Weeks Before Federal Hemp Rule Takes Effect

THC-Free CBD Isolate for Dogs by Lillie&Lee

Lillie&Lee, the best CBD brand for dogs, makes CBD and wellness products for both pets and people

SALEM, OR, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Lillie&Lee, a premium wellness brand for pets and humans, today announced the launch of its THC-Free CBD isolate for dogs.

The new product removes THC entirely, delivering 99%-plus pure cannabidiol (CBD). It keeps what most pet owners say they are actually buying CBD for: everyday calm, comfort and support for anxious or aging dogs.

On November 12, 2026, a federal provision takes effect nationwide, replacing the current delta-9-only THC threshold with a stricter "total THC" standard. For pet parents who rely on CBD to calm their dogs, the shift raises a practical question: whether the product arriving at their door will still meet the rules where they live.

Many brands have continued shipping existing products anyway, betting that enforcement will lag behind the law. Lillie&Lee is aiming at the gap between what the law now says and what keeps arriving on doorsteps.

On paper, the launch reads like a routine product release. Founder Lee Asher sees it differently, describing it as a response to a larger, unsolved structural problem.

"There's a version of this story where a state changes its law and a company just keeps selling the old product, because enforcement is spotty and most customers might not know the difference," Asher said. "We hear about that happening too much. I don't think people fully appreciate what that means. A pet owner in Georgia or South Dakota might be giving their dog something that, as of this time, doesn't meet their own state's safety threshold, and neither the company nor the customer necessarily knows it. That's a pet-safety gap dressed up as a supply-chain problem."

Company partner and president D.J. Gugenheim says pet CBD is now going through a transition that the human supplement and food industries have already experienced.

"Every category that starts as a wellness trend eventually gets treated like the medicine cabinet it actually is," Gugenheim said. "CBD for pets started in farmers markets and Instagram ads. It's now a multi-hundred-million-dollar category that state legislatures are actively legislating. The companies that treat that shift as a threat are going to keep losing states. The companies that treat it as the cost of being a real category are going to be the ones still standing when the federal rule lands."

Founded by animal rescue advocate Lee Asher, Lillie&Lee was built on the idea of trusted, everyday wellness rituals for entire households. While much of mass-market e-commerce keeps human and pet products in separate silos, Lillie&Lee deliberately bridges the two.

Every product in its lineup, from the existing full-spectrum CBD oils to functional mushroom supplements, is subject to strict third-party testing protocols. The full spectrum CBD oil with only two ingredients gives more CBD per dollar than the leading brands.
